Painting week

June saw our first "special" In Stitches when we invited Gatley artist David Hartley to show us how to paint with acrylics. David runs his own gallery, but willingly took the morning off to help us paint a landscape....

Most of us had never painted at all before....

But with lots of support from David.......

And appropriate refreshments.....

We managed to produce finished paintings that we're all very pleased with........

And we enjoyed it so much, we've persuaded David to come back for another session later in the year.
